Caroline Wrightson is a native of Easton, Maryland and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Languages and Literature. After spending more than a decade working in the insurance industry, Caroline experienced the life-altering benefits of acupuncture firsthand. That experience inspired a meaningful career change and a deep commitment to helping others experience the profound healing potential of this medicine.

 

She went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Bloomfield, New Jersey, earning a Clinical Master’s Level Diploma in Acupuncture. Caroline is a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist through the NCCAOM and is licensed to practice in both Maryland and Pennsylvania.

 

Caroline practices a highly individualized, functional medicine–inspired style of acupuncture that places strong emphasis on palpation-based diagnosis and precise, responsive treatment. Her clinical approach has been deeply shaped by the teachings of Kiiko Matsumoto, an internationally acclaimed acupuncturist whose work emphasizes listening carefully to the body and tailoring each treatment accordingly. Through ongoing study and mentorship, Caroline continues to refine her techniques to provide thoughtful, personalized care for every patient she serves.
